...the two carpets I brought back from Pakistan seem to have magically turned into one larger one. Or, alternatively, I have picked up my colleague Adrian's carpet instead of my two... Thought it was a bit lighter than I'd expected!

Had Steve B (accommodatingly) to visit Friday, went for a curry, saw Standing in the Shadows of Motown, drove to London on Sat, spent 10 minutes with my fellow Montgolfier Brothers, met up with mzdt and went to a fun party in Wood Green (lovely to see you, charleston and of course grannybum, whose girlfriend's surprise party it was). The MN state fair was just as good as the NC state fair last year, with farm animals, rides, and many foodstuffs that you wouldn't think would exist in a sane world. We counted the number of things you could get on a stick, and made it up to 15. Let's see if I can remember them now ( Read more... )
